This policy explains what personal information Little Harriers Nurseries collects when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It covers the website only. Information about children who attend the nursery is covered by the privacy notice you receive when you register.
Who we are
Little Harriers Nurseries runs two settings: Little Harriers Cranleigh (Building 139, Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh, Surrey, GU6 8TB) and Little Harriers Lavant (Lavant House, Two Barns Lane, Lavant, Chichester, PO18 9AB). For anything about your information, email the nursery you are dealing with at info@littleharriers.co.uk or info@littleharrierslavant.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, your child's age, which nursery you are asking about, how you would like us to reply, and your message. We use these to answer your enquiry and, if you go on to register, to arrange a visit. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Security check: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Cloudflare processes limited technical data about your browser to do this.
- Website analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Maps: the location maps are Google Maps embeds, which load from Google under Google's own privacy terms.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. Enquiries are delivered by Resend (our email provider) and the site is hosted by Vercel. Nothing you send through the website is shared with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a registration are deleted within 12 months. Records for children who attend are kept in line with Ofsted and our registration privacy notice.
Your rights
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
Email either nursery to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within one month.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and Google Maps may set their own technical cookies when those parts of the page load.
